Spring Hill also offers the following to members as available
  • Extra vegetables for preserving- Spring Hill sometimes has “extra” vegetables available in quantities for preserving, most notably, tomatoes. We will keep members informed through our weekly newsletter as to the availability of such possibilities.
  • Maple syrup - We make maple syrup on the farm but only enough for our extended family. We do have maple syrup for sale made by our neighbors. It’s the real stuff and tastes wonderful. Typically we have quarts, pints and half-pints available.
  • Honey - The farm has several bee hives which are tended by Patty’s dad. When there is an abundance of honey it is sold at the farm. If it has been a lean year, we will have honey from our neighbors at Talking Oak Farm.
  • Beeswax candles- frequently offered for sale to members at the Harvest Dinner Party.
  • Bedding Plants- Tomato and peppers grown in Spring Hill’s greenhouse can be ordered in the spring and are delivered to the Twin Cities in early May.
  • Coffee- Shade-grown and ethically traded, Farmer to Farmer Coffee from Lake Atitlan, Guatemala is available for sale at the farm. To learn more about Farmer to Farmer, visit www.farmertofarmer.org.
