The Farm

Spring Hill Community Farm is home to Michael Racette, Patty Wright, Katie, David and Maggie and is supported by a wonderful community of member households from the Twin Cities and Prairie Farm, Wisconsin area. Tucked into the rolling hills of western Wisconsin, we are located about 80 miles east of Minneapolis/St. Paul.

We grow a wide range of vegetables and herbs using a variety of sustainable, soil building practices including crop rotations, cover cropping and mulching. Additionally we have a few beehives and a sugar bush where we cook maple sap into syrup.

Our Standard Share typically includes 18-20 weeks of vegetables with an emphasis on the basics- carrots, potatoes, beans, tomatoes, onions and lettuce- complimented with some more unusual treats like fennel, broccoli raab and garlic scapes. We also offer an Every Other Week Share and a one-time Winter Delivery.

Joining Spring Hill gives you the opportunity to experience the richness of this community, know the land on which your food is grown, and eat incredibly fresh, tasty vegetables.
