Plan to arrive at Spring Hill between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. to help with harvesting and packing. The farm is about one and a half hours' drive from the Twin Cities. See our map for detailed directions.
Empty your trunk (except for the spare tire!) to allow as much space as possible for transporting the vegetables back to the Twin Cities.
Kids are welcome!
Bring a simple dish and beverage to share for our potluck picnic lunch.
Bring or wear old clothes. Rubber boots are advisable if the weather has been wet. You might want to bring a change of clothes for kids, depending on the weather. Light-colored clothes are recommended, especially during tick season.
Bring work gloves, especially when conditions are wet and muddy. Bring a hat in case it gets hot and sunny.
Harvest days do not have rain dates! In other words, we harvest rain or shine.
We hope that visits to Spring Hill are safe and enjoyable for all. To help assure that, we offer these guidelines for your safety.
Plan to leave Spring Hill by 1:30 p.m. The vegetables need to be at Spring Hill’s pick-up sites by 4pm!
