Tree Planted in Honor of Nuala Kernan
A Red Maple Tree was planted to honor Nuala Kernan at our Spring Work Day on May 30th, 2009

Nuala had been a farm member since its beginning and over the years served on our Core Group, Delivery Committee, worked on our early newsletters and was a pick-up site host and enthusiastic community member.  Nuala died last August of ovarian cancer.  Brenda Beyer did a lovely job of leading the tree planting and remembering Nuala who she said would be with us as long as we keep passing on the stories.  The tree is just below the perennial garden, a place where Nuala often ended up Spring Hill work days, working and chatting.
